World Book Day and British Science Week

We had a fantastic day celebrating all things books last week.

Each class studied a famous poem, created some interesting and creative items of clothing and all received a £1 book token. Each classroom door looks amazing and reading buddies was a success.

On Monday 9th March we launched British Science Week with a whole school creative day. The children took part in many exciting activities including planting, investigating what kind of taster they are, a bubble investigation, racing cars and making a ship that could float. The children were extremely positive about the day and a great deal of STEM learning took place across the school.

On Friday 13th March all children in Years 1-6 attended a ‘Mad Science’ workshop at the Museum of St Albans. They all had a fantastic time and this was a great learning opportunity.
