Welcome to Year 5!

Highlight of the week 6/10/25: As part of their Science topic on Living Things and Their Habitats, Year 5 have been learning about the incredible Sir David Attenborough. The children created detailed fact files celebrating his life and work and thoroughly enjoyed discovering how he has helped make our world a better place.

Highlight of the week 22/09/25: This week Year 5 have been learning about how tea is made and got to enjoy a grown-up cup at their desks while writing about our class text, 'Cloud Tea Monkeys' by Elspeth Graham and Mal Peet.

Highlight of the week 8/09/25: Year 5 are having great fun learning to read musical notation in their specialist lessons with Mrs Searle, and they are especially excited to be playing the theme tune from Ghostbusters!
