Safeguarding
At Park Street, safeguarding is at the heart of everything we do. We are committed to providing a safe, nurturing, and supportive environment where every child can learn, grow, and FLOURISH. All staff, governors, and volunteers share the responsibility for safeguarding and promoting the welfare of our pupils.
We follow national and local safeguarding guidance and work closely with external agencies to ensure that concerns are responded to promptly and effectively. Our safeguarding procedures include:
-
A dedicated Safeguarding Team including a Designated Safeguarding Lead (DSL) and trained deputy DSLs
-
Rigorous safer recruitment practices
-
Regular staff training on child protection and safeguarding
-
Clear systems for reporting and managing concerns
-
A strong focus on online safety, wellbeing, and pastoral support
-
Policies that are reviewed and updated regularly
We encourage parents, carers, and pupils to speak to us about any concerns, no matter how small they may seem. Working together helps us keep every child safe.
