Welcome to Year 2!

Highlight of the week 05/10/26: Year 2 had a fantastic time at Forest School this week. After listening to the story Leaf Man, the children got to search for interesting leaves to make into a woodland creature. They also got to do some leaf rubbings and thanks to Alana and her mum, who kindly donated the plants, the children planted the hanging baskets for our bandstand. A lovely way to enjoy the Autumn sun.

Highlight of the week 21/09/26: Year 2 have made a fantastic start to their weekly Glock-Rock music lessons with Mrs Searle. They have been enjoying learning to play notes D, C, & E on the glockenspiel, while also having fun exploring different rhythms through clapping activities. Looking forward to seeing their musical skills develop over the coming weeks!

Highlight of the week 07/09/26: For the launch of our first topic, London, Y2 watched William Whiskerson takes us on a virtual tour of London. After describing the landmarks we saw, the children drew the skyline of London. Can you identify the landmarks?
