Welcome to Year 4!

Highlight of the week 20/10/25: In our recent Science lesson about sound, Y4 tested different materials to see which one would be the best for a pair of ear defenders. They found out that bubble wrap was the best and tissue paper was the worst!

Highlight of the week 6/10/25: Y4 had a very interesting Forest School. They got to find a 'hidden' poem about volcanoes and then got to make an erupting volcano! As you can see, it was a lot of fun!

Highlight of the week 22/09/25: In music this week, Y4 learnt to play Ode to Joy on the keyboards. They also learnt a welcome song in Nigerian.

Highlight of the week 8/09/25: For the launch of our first topic, volcanoes, the children looked at some famous volcanoes from around the world. They then drew the one they found the most interesting using chalk, pastels, crayons and pencils.
